This toy made it into our 2012 Holiday Gift Guide!
Two of my 8 year old son’s favorite things – SpongeBob SquarePants and LEGO sets – combined into one! Nickelodeon has some awesome gift ideas for the Holiday season that are perfect for your kids. We’ll highlight several of them over the coming days and then wrap it up with a Nickelodeon themed Gift Guide.
The SpongeBob SquarePants LEGO Set Glove World was a blast for Aaron to put together. And, he did it entirely by himself, which is always fun for a parent to see. There’s something about the TV being turned off and my entire family chilling out in the living room reading a book, putting together a LEGO set or just chatting about our day that truly makes me happy.
I gave Aaron the LEGO set and said “Have at it!”. It didn’t take too long for him to put together and it’s just one cool looking set.
The set includes 4 minifigures: SpongeBob™, Patrick, Sandy and Ice Cream Vendor. It features a Ferris wheel, ice cream shop, ticket stand and fish ice cream vendor. The Ferris Wheel actually works. You can take the characters for a spin!
Aaron’s favorite character was Patrick Star because he was covered in the ice cream he was eating. Which is typical Patrick.
