Our 15 year old daughter received a Kindle Fire HD for her birthday last month and it’s probably one of the best gifts we’ve given her. She can use it for just about everything. (Except clean her room. There’s no app for that!) We purchased Amazon Prime along with the Kindle and are extremely pleased with everything it has to offer.
The HD screen is absolutely stunning. It is super fast. It’s small enough for her to put in her backpack and take to school, yet big enough to comfortably watch a movie, do some research for homework or browse through her Facebook feed.
The Kindle Fire is perfect for both parents and kids and with Kindle Free Time, parents can comfortably allow their kids to use it. You can read all about Kindle Free Time here and why it’s such a great feature for the Kindle Fire.
If you are planning on purchasing one of these for your kiddos, Amazon is running a deal right now that when you buy a Kindle Fire (not the HD one), you receive a Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Case for free. The case retails for $29.99, so it’s a pretty sweet deal. Find out more here.
