Worx Toys Speedster Race Car {Review}

This toy made it into our 2012 Holiday Gift Guide!

Worx Toys Speedster Race CarDo you have a child who loves to know how things work? Or see how things work? We do. That’s our 8 year old Aaron. He would take apart my laptop if I would let him. He’s just wired that way, which is why one of his favorite toys for this Holiday season is the Worx Toys Speedster Race Car.

Ages: 6 and up

Batteries required: Yes, 3 AA included

The Worx Race Car lets your child see the different parts of the car and where they’re located. Included with the car is an interactive story book, which just takes this toy up one level. I love the story book. Your child can read along and then input the different codes to see where the certain parts of the car are located. The light up function includes parts such as:

  • Engine
  • Timing belts
  • Transmission
  • Gas tank
  • Cooling and exhaust system
  • Brake system
  • Tail lights and headlights
  • Steering, dash, and rims
  • Suspension
  • And more!

If you’re looking for a toy with a built in educational feature, this is definitely one you should look into purchasing.

If your child is more into, let’s say, fire trucks – they have one of those too. You can see the race car, fire truck and a helicopter from Worx Toys here.
