You’ve cooked the turkey, hosted Thanksgiving in your home, inhaled the Thanksgiving meal and now you’re warn out! Whether you need a pick me up to head out for the Black Friday sales (which are happening a bit earlier this year at a few stores) or you need some energy to clean up the enormous mess in your kitchen, we have just the thing for you! We had the chance to test out the new Just Dance 4 video game and to say we were excited, would definitely be an understatement. When I first heard about the new video game and the songs that were included, I knew this was a must-own for our family. Not only do we enjoy playing video games together as a family (side note: I participated in an online event where they talked about the benefits of video gaming together as a family. I was blown away at the statistics they were sharing. Bottom line: play with your kids!) but we often have a house full of teens. Just Dance 4 is one of the best video games for bonding, getting exercise and laughing hysterically at each other.

Today is our first day of Thanksgiving break. We have some family coming in and it looks like we’re going to have a nice big crew at my parents’ house for Thanksgiving. Instead of sitting around staring at each other in a comma-like turkey-induced state, I say we play some Just Dance 4! What I love about this game is it truly is for everyone. From little kids to grandparents, everyone can test out their dance skills and just have some fun together.

We have the Xbox 360 Kinect version and my only complaint about the game was how hard it was to navigate and select songs with your hand. Thankfully, they just released an update for the Just Dance 4 Kinect game which makes this problem go away. You can now use your Xbox controller to make your selections. It’s an automatic update, so it should load automatically.
