What We Thought
As I mentioned, we have quite the collection of Nerf Guns and the Vortex Pyragon is definitely one of our favorites. In fact, we think it just might be the only Vortex gun you need to own, unless you’re a collector of course. But if you’re in the market for a new Nerf gun for Christmas or a Birthday gift, go with the Pyragon.
We’ve played with it a lot and not only does it have some fantastic features, it’s very durable. It’s fun to shoot the discs one at a time, but the rapid fire feature is absolutely awesome. And it does work just as the commercials show. As far as the shooting quality, it’s top of the line. It’s easy to aim and shoot your target (as you’ll see in my video clip below – I was aiming at the camera without realizing it!) The discs have a long range and are durable. This is one reason we prefer the discs as opposed to the darts. They last longer.
If you’re ever invited to a Nerf Gun war, bring the Pyragon. Being able to shoot 40 discs, that don’t jam, is gold when it comes to a Nerf Gun war!

Do they love Nerf Guns? Then the answer is “YES!”. The great thing about Nerf guns is they target such a wide age range. This Vortex Pyragon will have elementary age to adults having the time of their lives. We declare this a must-own Nerf gun for Nerf Gun enthusiasts and for anyone who has a Nerf Gun on their Holiday wish list.
