Kidz Bop Microphone with Stand and Guitar {Review}

There is something about a microphone on a stand that draws someone in. At least that was the case with the Kidz Bop microphone at our house after I set it up. All three kids were like ‘What is that?!” and then they had to test it out of course. And so did I!

Ages: 4 and up

Your kids can rock out to some favorite Kidz Bop songs with the included CD. It has 5 popular songs: ”Rolling in the Deep”, “The Edge of Glory”, “Firework”, “Stereo Hearts”, and “We Found Love.” With just one push of the on button, they can sing out some tunes nice and loud. If they have some songs on their MP3 player they would like to sing to, all they have to do is plug it into the base of the microphone stand and they are good to go.

To make them feel even more like a rock star, the set includes an All Access VIP Credential, a lanyardand two concert tickets. You just might score some concert tickets from them. Be prepared for an awesome show.

Some things to be aware of:

In order to really hear the sound, your kids have to get very close to the microphone. Like “lips touching the microphone like the rockstars do” close.
It does not come with a cord to plug in your MP3 player, so you’ll have to purchase one of those
Ours did not come with instructions, but it was easy to figure out

Batteries: Yes, requires 3 “AA” batteries, not included

The Kidz Bop Guitar has strings that your child can actually strum while they’re singing along to their favorite tunes. The guitar has 3 built in songs: ”DJ Got Us Falling in Love”, “Get the Party Started”, and “Good Life”. It also has built in keyboard, drums and bass sounds you can play around with. You can plug in the headphones and sing through the speaker on the guitar.

Combine this with the microphone and they are ready for their rock concert!
