I mentioned back in May that E.T. was coming to Blu-ray. I also mentioned that I was extremely excited about this. Extremely. What better movie to watch as we get closer to Halloween than E.T.? The movie is filled with Halloween and it’s about an extra terrestrial! I love it when they dress E.T. up as a ghost. One of my most favorite scenes of the movie.
Amazing Picture Quality
E.T. the movie has such a deep spot in my heart because it brings back so many memories from my childhood. I was so excited to share this movie with my kids and although they complained it was an “old movie”, watching it on Blu-ray made it seem okay. What did they think? They loved it of course! And let me tell you, the picture looks phenomenal. Obviously way better than my old VHS tape. What’s A VHS tape you ask? Gasp!
Amazing Special Features
Not only did I get to sit down and enjoy the film in great picture quality,but I also was blown away by all of the special features. I’m one of those people that will sit and watch the special features after the movie – no matter how long it takes. You can find out what special features there are here.
