Playmobil Athlete Figures are Going for Gold, Plus a Giveaway!

I have a little confession. My husband and I are absolute Olympics junkies, so to say we’re excited about the 2012 London Olympics would definitely be an understatement. I told my husband to “cancel  any and all events on our calendar because we’re not going anywhere in the evenings for two weeks!” Okay, yes – we agreed that was a bit extreme but seriously, I just want to sit and watch the Olympics.

To help your kids get in the Olympic spirit and act out their favorite Olympic sport, Playmobil Athlete figures are going for gold! Kids will love collecting their 15 athlete figures. The figures’ poses reflect their sport and they are so much fun to play with. They have everything from figures for gymnastics, cycling, table tennis and beach volleyball.

Each figure comes complete with accessories, and is appropriate for children ages 4 to 10.

We had the chance to check out a few of their figures. We received the Playmobil gymanst on the balance beam, beach volleyball and karate.

Here’s Hannah (our 14 year old) playing with the volleyball figures and proving one is never too old for toys!

I think the gymnast is my favorite. She came with the balance beam, hoop and ball. You can take a look at all 15 figures and choose your favorite sport here.
