I’m not sure if any of you are familiar with YouTube stars Rhett & Link, but my son and his bestfriend are huge fans. I’ve been hearing about them and watching their videos for awhile now and they are pretty darn hilarious.
Rhett & Link call themselves “Internetainers” and they have really tapped a market that speaks loud and clear to my son, who is going into 8th grade. Their market of fans actually seems to be far and wide and reaches every age and gender.

Last week my son heard that Rhett & Link were coming to Lockhart, Texas. He found out via one of their videos and was slightly excited. We live outside of Austin and Lockhart is a little over an hour away from us. Not far at all to meet someone you look up to and are big fans of. So, my husband decided this would be a great guy trip and he took Josiah and his friend Tanner to the Barbecue place in Lockhart where the meeting was happening.
Rhett & Link were there to film their show Good Mythical Morning as well as meet their fans. Josiah and Tanner got a front row seat by sitting on the floor (Score!). They are really hoping they’ll show up in their video (which is supposed to be posted today), which would be the best thing since sliced bread for them. Although they’re only 13 so all they know is sliced bread. Anyway…they’ll be very excited!
My son uploaded the photo above on Facebook and said this was the greatest experience ever. Rhett also shared a secret with the boys. 
Sorry, I can’t tell it to you. They also told the boys “to never give up” and were just as funny in person as they are on their videos. This is definitely a day the boys will always remember.
