I’m sure after you read the headline “Wuggle Pets Review” the song from the commercial instantly entered your brain. My kids sing it all the time. We received a couple of kits to review and although my kids are older than the age I would recommend this for, they still had fun putting them together.
Our youngest son and a friend of his tested out the kit for us.
Wuggle Pets Description
Wuggle Pets are a new activity kit of adorable baby animals that are easy to make and fun to collect! These snuggly friends come to life as children create their own pet right at home. Children simply add stuffing using the Fun Fill Factory (winding stuffing machine), sprinkle a little magical dust, put in a personality charm, and watch as it grows. These adorable new collectibles are beautifully made with embroidered eyes and hoofs or paws (so there are no small parts) and feature a signature birthmark on the back of its ear. Each pet comes with a customizable birth certificate and a backpack clip so kids can bring their baby pet wherever they go.
Our Thoughts
One thing to note about Wuggle Pets is putting them together doesn’t take very long at all. So, if you’re looking for an activity to do at your child’s Birthday party or something fun for the kids to do while the weather is bad, this will not occupy them for very long. It’s best to look at it as a party favor, which the kids will really enjoy taking home.
But – it is fun! You could possibly have a few other activities on hand to fill the time.
Creating the Wuggle Pet is a good activity for kids ages 4 and up and will appeal mostly to girls ages 4 to 7. While making the Wuggle Pet doesn’t take long, it’s really the collectibility factor that will appeal to kids.
I handed the kit over to Aaron (7) and his friend (11) and they didn’t need my help figuring anything out. They filled the machine with the stuffing, added the “magic” and made their Wuggle Pet. Easy peasy.
As you can see from the pictures below, they had a blast and there was a lot of laughter.

We give Wuggle Pets four explosions.
Bottom line – we would recommend the product. I read many reviews and the negative reviews consisted of:
- Not receiving all of the parts in the kit
- The zipper on the back of the Wuggle Pet wouldn’t work
- People couldn’t get the stuffing in
- It didn’t keep their child’s attention
We tested 2 kits (so 4 Wuggle Pets) and didn’t experience any of these problems. Everything we needed in the kit was included, it was easy to get the stuffing and the magic in and we felt the product was well made.
