Our 7 year old isn’t much into video games. I’m pretty sure it’s because the kid would live outside if we let him. Outside, riding his scooter and playing with his friends, is where he would prefer to be 24/7. That’s a very good problem to have right?
We’ve bought him video games in the past and he plays them for approximately 10 minutes before he is sick of it. It’s just not his thing and that’s okay. Until Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure came into the picture.
Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure merges the world of toys and video games. It makes video game playing more interactive and puts a collectibilty spin on it as well. This very much appealed to our son and he absolutely loves the game.

Activision has done a fantastic job at creating a game that is very appealing to young boys. And the portal of power is down right awesome. There are many characters to collect and each one is different and distinctive. I had a very long conversation with the manager of the Game Stop we shop at and he is obsessed with collecting the characters.
I asked him if he had the exclusive character from Sam’s Club and he said he went and got it the day it became available.

It is a great pack to get your child started. Even if they don’t end up collecting any of the other characters, there are enough features in the game to keep them busy for hours and hours.
