I’ve featured Gund’s Squaredy Cats plush here on ToyXplosion before and if you’ve been a reader for awhile, you know what a big, huge, giant fan I am of them. I first told you about the line back in January of this year. If you’re not familiar with Squaredy Cats (and oh how you should be!), you can find out more about them on our feature here, as well as visiting the Squaredy Cats website.
I’m excited to tell you they’ve released series 2 and I had the chance to see one up close and personal. As soon as I opened up the package and saw the Not Squared to Shine Squaredy Cat, I was SO excited.
From her fluffy white tail and shiney silver body, to the purple star she’s holding – it makes this Squaredy Cat a great Holiday Gift for little girls, tweens and teens.
What I love about Squaredy Cats is they can be used for cuddling or room decor. And of course, the “Not Squared” message on each cat is so great for girls. It teaches them self-expression and sends the message to not be afraid to be themselves. How many girls do you know who are afraid to just be themselves and embrace who they are, not who their friends are? It’s such a common issue with us females isn’t it?
The entire line is absolutely fabulous and the Squaredy Cats are very well made. We gave one as a gift almost a year ago and my friend said that not only does her daughter still sleep with it, but it’s also still in fantastic shape. That’s what I like to hear!
