I am very excited to tell you about the next generation of playing cards called Redakai. You (or your child) may be familiar with the Cartoon Network series “Redakai: Conquer the Kairu”. Since debuting these 3D playing cards based off the TV series, they’ve made several Top Toy Lists including Kmart’s Fab 15.
I can tell you first hand these cards and accessories are perfect for elementary age boys. They have the collectibility factor, it’s a game, it’s portable so you can take it with you anywhere and the cards are extremely well made.
Redakai Description
Based on the animated cartoon series, RedaKai is a fast-paced card game of Kairu battles that is easy to learn and quick to play. Ideal for kids six and up, this two-to-four-player game helps build creative and strategic thinking skills during basic and advanced gameplay.
Everything You Need to Play Like a Champion
The RedaKai Championship Tin comes complete with all cards and accessories essential to the game. The card screen and draw deck will keep X-Drive cards hidden from opponents so they don’t know the damage you are about to lay down
Keep track of power with the Kairu counters and maintain organized gameplay with the battlefield tray.
Blast3D Holograms Bring X-Drives to Life
Blast enemies with amazing Blast3D X-Drives. The RedaKai Championship Tin comes with 43 clear plastic Blast3D X-Drive cards. A different 3D hologram effect adorns each card and adds a fun element to gameplay–Sonic Charge waves move, Sonic Spin lasers twirl, and Blinding Light shines.
Safely store X-Drives in the RedaKai tin, complete with hologram graphics on the front.

Our Thoughts on Redakai
I’m not even sure where to start with what I like about these cards and the championship tin. How about some bullet points? They make everything easier right?
- I think the sets are very well priced for what you get. You can get the X-Drive, 42 additional X-Drives, card screen with Kairu counters, battlefield, draw deck, storage tin, and instruction manual all for under $30. Actually, right now it’s only $20 at Amazon. 30% off! You can also get a starter set for under $18.
- The instructions are very straightforward and easy to understand. The game play is fantastic and something boys can really get in to. Our 7 year old is actually more into playing with the cards by himself and making different combination with the cards. He’ll sit forever and do this!
- The Championship tin makes a nice place to store everything so the cards aren’t scattered (and lost) all over the house.
- My favorite thing about Redakai are just the cards themselves. The 3D effects are amazing and they are so well made. Made to last hours and hours of play. If they can stand up to my 7 year old who has had them for awhile, then they must be sturdy!
