Today we are kicking off our Holiday Gift Guide 2011! From now and over the next few weeks, we’ll present you with toys we’ve hand selected to appear in our Gift Guide. You’ll see videos, pictures and a write up on the toys.
First up, none other than the coolest mouse in the house – Rock Star Mickey! He even posed for a picture with me.
Rock Star Mickey Description:
Everyone’s favorite mouse is ready to rock! Mickey really gets things going as he sings, bobs his head, dances across the stage and finishes with his signature move — the mouska-split — where he plays the guitar with his nose! Kids can learn how to rock along with Mickey in the “You’re a Rock Star!” mode. Features three rock songs, including the classic “You Really Got Me.”

We absolutely love Rock Star Mickey! Fisher Price has done an excellent job at creating a very fun toy for kids ages 24 months – 6 years. I was impressed with how well made he is. He’ll stand up to the wear and tear that little ones tend to put on toys.
If your child loves music and loves to dance, this is the toy for them. They can learn a few rock star moves of their own, including the Head-Bop, the Kick-Step and the Mickety-Split.
To take this toy one step further, your little one can start their own band with Mickey and play along when you purchase the Mickey’s Rock Star Guitar, which is sold separately.
Note: Rock Star Mickey isn’t super cuddly and he’s not meant to be. He’s meant to entertain with his dance moves. Parts of him are fabric, while his shoes, guitar and hands are plastic.
Extras: Four AAA batteries (included); Phillips-head screwdriver to replace batteries
Ages: 24 months to 6 years
