It’s Day 2 of our Holiday Gift Guide 2011 and it’s a hot new ride-on toy from Radio Flyer – the RFX Scooter. We are very excited about this one! Radio Flyer has done a phenomenal job creating a scooter that is well-made and offers kids a very fun ride.(And it’s affordable, which is a nice added bonus!)
Radio Flyer RFX Scooter Description:
The Radio Flyer RFX Scooter offers a cool new way to show off your personality while you ride. Trick out your scooter with ten custom Clipz and 70 extreme decals — then get outside and show off your stuff!
Radio Flyer RFX Scooter ToyXplosion Video:
As I mentioned in the video, this Radio Flyer Scooter is very well made. It’s designed for durability and speed and after 2 weeks of testing, we can tell you first hand it has both. Aaron likes to do bunny hops on the scooter and the RFX has stood up to those. We’ve had a scooter fall apart while he was riding it. Not cool.
My favorites features include:
- No rattle riding – it offers one heck of a smooth ride
- Adjustable handlebars so kids of all sizes can use it comfortably
- Easy touch footbrake
- The clips and decals offer your kids a chance to really customize their scooter – they can add their name, a decal from their favorite sport or just make a cool design
Note: It does not come assembled, so adult assembly is required. But it is super easy to put together. I would recommend assembling it on Christmas Eve and having it set up under the tree.
Extras: No extra equipment is required. It comes with a handy tool, nuts and bolts to put together.
Ages: 5 and up
Price: $39.97
