Aaron with the Z-Curve Bow - You better duck!

There are some toys we get to review here at the ToyXplosion headquarters (yes, that would be our home) that we just can not get enough of. I have two toys to tell you about today that fit into that ‘I could play with these all day’ category. Have you heard of the Z-Curve Bow and Zing-Shot Launcher by Zing Toys? These are definitely at the top of our Favorite Toys for the Summer list.

I had a hard time, as you could see, getting the arrows and ball on video shooting through the sky because they shoot fast and far. We had so much fun the day we took these to the park. In fact, I had so much fun, I even got an arrow stuck on top of a nearby elementary school. Way to go mom! We’ve yet to recover the arrow, so it looks like I’ll be buying a refill pack.

What’s so great about both of these toys? Not only can they be used outside (and they shoot FAR), kids can use them inside as well. The accuracy of the bow is downright awesome. Both of our boys got really good at hitting exactly what they were aiming for. Which I set the rule of “not at each other” really quickly because, well, boys will be boys right? The suction cup arrow sticks for about a minute or so and then automatically releases.

We’ve had these toys for about a month and they have yet to get old and find themselves at the bottom of a toy box somewhere. I’ve been keeping them in the living room for spur of the moment dart funness. Funness is a word right?

If you have the desire to be the coolest grandparent around, we highly recommend purchasing these as gifts for your grandkids. Do you have a child to buy for parents?
