We’ve been hard at work this week getting the backyard ready for summer and trying our best to turn it into a little haven for the kids. I’ve ordered a pool and it’s on the way, so wish me luck in getting it all set up. We have the trampoline good to go, a little table and umbrella for some shade and a little carpeted area on the patio with some relaxing chairs. Maybe I’ll post some pictures after it’s all looking spiffy!
One thing we can’t fit in our backyard and our kids are actually a little too old for (the older two anyway) is a wooden swing set. We moved so much while Todd was in the Air Force, so we never had one of those gorgeous wooden swing sets. The thought of having to take it apart every few years did not sound appealing. I guess when I have grandkids (did I just say grandkids?!) I’ll get a wooden swing set for the backyard.
