What do Silly Bandz, Beanie Babies and Squinkies have in common? Besides being uber popular, they are collectible. Kids love to collect things!
The Bridge Direct, the same company behind the Justin Bieber dolls that sold like gold (and was one very HOT feature here!) , have a new product called Shoulder Buddies. Not only are they collectible, but they are a great companion for traveling and summer camp!
Shoulder Buddies are adorable collectible friends that kids can wear and take with them everywhere they go. Each 1.5 inch figure has an embedded magnet that connects with a Magic Coin in order to stay in place on a shirt, hat, backpack or wherever your kids want to put them. They come in a variety of themes and colors, with over 30 new characters per year. There really is a Shoulder Buddy for everyone.

Shoulder Buddies come from the ‘Land of Understand’. After going to school to learn their ‘Smarts’, they come down to Earth to share it with a special friend, aka your child. Each Shoulder Buddy comes with a ‘Smart Card’ that describes their unique message.

We can personally tell you that these are absolutely adorable, well made and the magnet is super strong. I wish I had on video Aaron (pictured above) trying to shake the Shoulder Buddy off. It wouldn’t budge.
Aaron loved the Shoulder Buddies because of the collectibilty factor and because they were something unique. He went to school the next day with one attached to his backpack. Very cool.
I can see giving one of these to your child who might be a little nervous about going to camp. It can be their little ‘buddy’ and reminder that mom and dad love them and will see them soon. And as far as a little traveling companion, these would be fun for your kids to stick on their seat belts.
