We already have a Spin Master Games package for the adults giveaway going on and now it’s the kids’ turn! Out of the three games we’re giving away today, we have only had the chance to play one, but man has it been a favorite with the kiddos. We will play the others soon, but have just been so busy with life lately!
I am sure you’ve heard of Headbanz, but if you haven’t, you are in for a treat!
Description: Got something on your mind You sure do! It’s a picture, but of what. Maybe you’re a rhino… Or a pitcher…or an apple. You’ll have to guess. You start the game with 3 tokens. When its your turn, flip the timer and ask your friends as many yes or no questions as you can until the sand runs out. Guess what you are and you’ll get rid of 1 token. Get rid of all 3 tokens and you win! Comes with 6 Hedbanz, a deck of Hedbanz cards, a timer and game tokens.
Our kids love this game more than just about any other game. I haven’t seen them have so much fun together with a board game in quite a while. They decided to play it not as a contest against each other (because with two very competitive boys, that NEVER turns out well), but instead just for fun.
My son’s 1st grade teacher even uses this game in her classroom and all of the kids love it.
Hearing our kids laughing up a storm in the back of the car while playing this game was a riot! Have your kids played Hedbanz? If so, let us know what you/they think of it!
The next game is Beat The Parents
Description: Imagination Beat the Parents Board Game, find out who’s really the boss in the family – the kids or the parents – as parents are asked questions most kids can answer, and the kids are asked questions most parents can answer. Do the grown-ups know what school Harry Potter attends? Can the kids guess how many C’s are in the word cappuccino? And watch out for the Wild Card spaces: Land on one and you could be sent back or forward on the board. The first player or team to cross the board with all of their tokens wins the game. 6 and above.
It does sound quite entertaining doesn’t it? Our kids always love it when they know a fact we don’t.
The last game we are giving away is Quelf Jr
Description: Imagination Quelf Jr. Board Game, we’ve taken the successful adult game and brought it to life for the younger board game player to enjoy. The kids will have a blast as they “obey the card” and start to do random silly things. If it’s a Roolz card, you may have to “Lick your teeth and say ‘Willy Wonka has arrived.” every time you draw a card for the whole game. Or answer a trivia question from a Quizzle card, laugh yourself silly following the Stunz and Showbiz instruction cards (can you drink a glass of water from the opposite side of the glass?) or force an All Play with your own choice of question in Scatterbrainz.
If you’re the first player to the board’s finish space and can give two answers to the final Scatterbrainz question, the game is yours, recommended 6 and up , 3 to 8 players.
