I recently reviewed a Sticky Mosaics product which was geared towards girls. It was all about princesses, unicorns, pink and purple. My 7 year old boy who thought the kit looked pretty darn cool said, ‘Hey! What about something for the boys?’. Are there any Sticky Mosaics kits for the boys? Why yes, yes there are and the one we just reviewed is awesome!!
Sticky Mosaic Curse of the Treasure Chest is one of Orb Factory’s new arrivals and we were so excited to have the chance to check it out. Aaron absolutely loved it and it’s one of those toys he’ll hold on to for a very long time.
The Sticky Mosaic Curse of the Treasure Chest includes 250+ sticky foam and jewel pieces and is a realistic treasure chest with a skull. With Pirates of the Caribbean 4 coming out in May, this would be the perfect toy to give as a gift or to use as a centerpiece for a pirate themed party.
I gave Aaron the box and let him loose. Since he’s already familiar with Sticky Mosaics, he knew exactly what to do and was able to make the entire project himself.
The pirate chest is 6″ x 8″ and includes a secret compartment with a Flipmotion moving secret inside. This was Aaron’s favorite part! A pirate chest with a secret compartment? Could a toy get any cooler than that? Here are a few pictures of Aaron removing the box to get to the secret compartment and a picture of it.
As a parent, I was very impressed with the quality of the product. It’s a toy that will last a long time and is currently being used to hold all of Aaron’s money (in the secret compartment, but don’t tell anyone!). Kids will love this toy because a) they get to decorate it themselves and b) they get to use it and display it in their rooms when they’re done.
Would I have purchased this toy myself? You bet! Stay tuned as we tell you about more of The Orb Factory’s new arrivals. They have some super sweet products! Click here to purchase the Sticky Mosaic Curse of the Treasure Chest.
