Have you ever wondered if the Silly Bandz craze could get any bigger? I have. Guess what? It can, but with a new brand in town called PiggyBack Bandz. What are they exactly? Here’s a glimpse.
If you’ve ever been around a group of kids that are wearing Silly Bandz, you’ll hear the question ‘Which ones do you have?’ over and over again. With PiggyBack Bandz, kids can already tell what shape their friends are wearing because they are “The Bandz That Stand”. The mini-shape band piggybacks on top of the traditional shaped band.
What do kids think of them?
I just love this picture. This was one girl’s reaction while seeing PiggyBack Bandz for the first time at the Chicago Toy & Game Fair. Her reaction was a common one among kids that weekend. They love them!
I love the concept behind the PiggyBack Bandz with letters because the kids can layer the bands and make a word. How ingenious and fun is that?! I had no idea someone could take the Silly Bandz craze up a notch. No idea.
What did our kids think of them?
This is our 6 year old Aaron’s hands. I think he would wear PiggyBack Bandz all the way up to his arm pits if we let him. He absolutely loved them! I let him open the package without explaining the difference between these and the other bands. I wish I would have captured his reaction when he realized what they were. The look on his face was very similar to the girl we pictured up there.
When I asked Aaron why he likes PiggyBack Bandz he said, ‘Because now my friends can tell what bracelets I am wearing’. Yep. He understood the concept and the coolness of these new bands right off the bat.
There are currently 8 Piggyback themes. Choose from Glam, Football, Groovy, Sealife, Alphabet, Cool Rides, Safari and Extra Letters. Wear LOL with three bandz, display a glamorous ring or show off a racing car or football helmet. Whatever your personality, there’s a band that fits! Each retails for $4.95 for a pack of 25 bandz (26 for each letter of the alphabet).
Purchasing Piggyback Bandz is easy – shop their website, www.piggybackbandz.com or maybe you’re lucky enough to live near one of the specialty stores that carry them. To keep up on the newest styles, follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. Canadian kids can find the stand-up bandz at any of the 70 Toys ‘R’ Us stores in Canada.
