Review: Glow Crazy – As Seen on TV

Our basement is one of our favorite rooms in the house to hang out together as a family. When you turn out the lights, it’s perfect for spying with the JAKKS Night Vision Goggles, Nerf Gun Wars in the dark and of course the always popular hide-and-go-seek in the dark. We now have another fun toy for our ‘playing in the dark arsenal’ – Glow Crazy, an As Seen On TV product.

I am often skeptical of most As Seen On TV products, just because there are so many! I was sent Glow Crazy to review, so you are probably wondering ‘Would you spend the $24.99 yourself?’ and the answer is yes. This product was so well-received by our toy testers and has been played with over and over again. We keep it up on the walls in our basement so they can play with whenever they want.

What is it exactly? It’s a toy where you can draw and write in the dark, from 10 feet away. A ‘Distance Doodler’ they are calling it. 10 feet – really? Really. It works.

The kit includes:

• 2 jumbo canvas clings – which stick on the wall really well and have stayed put. I took one down to see if it left any damage on the walls and it didn’t.
• Magic Lightwand – This thing is so cool. You can free hand draw, write, use the stencils, play tic tac toe and more
• 4 stencils – from farm animals to a rocket ship
• 1 tip Booklet
