Buffalo Games’ Newest Party Game Gotcha!

Throwing a party anytime soon? If so, we bet you are looking for a fun party game to break the ice with your party goers. Buffalo Games just announced their newest party game, which will officially launch at the New York Toy Fair February 13th-16th. It’s called Gotcha! and it’s a party game that breaks all the rules. Sounds like my kind of game!

Description:

In Gotcha! each player tries to follow the constantly changing rules, while at the same time trying to catch others breaking a rule.  For example, a rule card may read, “People wearing jeans must use fingers quotes while speaking.” If any jeans-wearer speaks without using finger quotes, the first player to catch it and hit the buzzer scores!  The rule cards have been designed so there are thousands of different possible rule combinations, offering great replayability and making each game different.  The more rules that are played, the funnier the games gets – a perfect mix of laugh-out-loud fun and hectic mayhem.  Catch your friends before they catch you!

Gotcha! is for 3-8 players ages 14+ and includes 110 Rule Cards (32 Top Rule Cards, 34 Bottom Rule Cards, 38 Individual Rule Cards, 6 Create-Your-Own Rule Cards); 8 colored pawns; 4 Orange Card Mats; 1 Buzzer; 1 Gameboard; Instructions, and retails for $27.99.

Sounds fun doesn’t it? I love a game that can be played several different ways, over and over again. To me, replayability is important.  It makes the game fun and a great investment.

Gotcha! sounds like the perfect party game to break the ice and help the crowd get to know each other. One way to guarantee a successful and fun party, is to start it off with just the right game. Maybe even the people who say ‘I don’t like playing games’ will get into this one. You know who I’m talking about!

Some other great games from Buffalo Games includes Truth Be Told, Likewise!,The T-Shirt Game and Last Word.
