We have the perfect stocking stuffer idea for you today! Have you heard about or seen Sqwishlanders? They’re those little rubbery animals you can find in vending machines and now multi-packs at several store locations! I think the little pink pig is my favorite. Or maybe the crab. But then there’s the Koala…
We received a pack of Sqwishlanders and instantly fell in love with them. I had to play mediator between the kids and divvy them up. We all had fun breaking open the little plastic bubbles and seeing which Sqwishlander was inside. We then went online and added all of our codes. Needless to say, they were a huge hit in our house!
Each Sqwishlander is a 3/4″ rubbery animal in a plastic capsule that can be found in more than 300,000 vending machines around the world. You can also purchase them in 6,12 and 24 multi-packs at your local Toys ‘R Us, CVS, Walgreens, H-E-B, Michaels or Meijer store!
Each Sqwishlander comes with a code for access to a new kid-friendly virtual world, www.Sqwishland.com, where kids and adults alike will enjoy playing games and feeding and taking care of their adorable virtual Sqwishlanders.
Like collectible cards and plush toys, these cute critters are plentiful — or rare — depending on the Sqwishlander you seek. Black and white Sqwow can be found 900 out of 1000 times in 6-pack and 12-pack capsules. His rarer sibling, a brown and white Sqwow, can only be found 40 out of 1000 packs.
Membership is free or choose one of the premium levels where access to exciting features like clothing items and a Sqwishhome, more mini-games to play, additional educational activities and daily tasks to perform. Just choose and pay for one of several membership levels and receive exciting membership perks! There’s the option of Sqwabbles, the sad Sqwishlanders that were neglected and ran away but can be caught and rehabilitated by completing quests. Or get the chance to find valuable items deep within Sqwishland and conquer mighty missions.
Buddies Sqwoala, Sqwirrel, Sqwrog and Sqwarrot are just a few of the rubbery characters that also make great pencil toppers. The kooky characters were first introduced in vending machines as Sea Mania and Pet Friends more than 4 years ago. The characters were rebranded in 2010 as Sqwishlanders, after kids in focus groups told the company that’s what they call them. Incredibly, more than 55 million have been sold!
We are officially fans of Sqwishlanders and the kids will definitely be finding some in their stocking this year. They really do make the perfect stocking stuffer!
