Franklin Electronics has recently released a family-friendly gadget that we just have to tell you about. It’s the Franklin AnyBook Reader, an interactive reading device for parents & kids 3+. We were truly impressed with this product and feel it would make one excellent gift for the Holidays.
What is it and how does it work? Let us explain.
Step One: Pick a book, any book, and sticker the pages. It comes with a selection of AnyBook stickers. Each sticker uses a unique code which allows you to associate different recordings with every page of your book. The stickers won’t mess up the pages of your book because they use a special glue that won’t damage the book and you can remove them at any time.
Step Two: Activate the sticker by touching it with the pen. Super easy and yes, it really works!
Step Three: Record that page.
Step Four: Let your child hear your voice.
Here’s a video which explains it.
We live far away from grandparents and know all too well the importance of kids having some sort of connection with them. Imagine recording a few books and sending this on to your grandchild for Christmas. It would be special for both the child and the parents.
Let’s say you are a busy working parent who doesn’t always make it home on time at night. Do you miss getting to read your child a bedtime story? Or maybe you travel a lot. The options are endless for creating a connection.
We also love the idea of just spicing up books for your toddler. Kids are all about technology aren’t they?
The Anybook Reader is available for $39.99 in a 15 Hour Edition and $59.99 for the 60 Hour Edition
. Check it out! We loved it and can see the value in it and think you will too.
