Description: Crystal Growing Trees is a fun educational activity for children of all ages. The kit is very affordable and the experiment is easy enough to complete that even young children can enjoy it. The kit comes with materials for growing five trees full of crystals
(the two inch trees are made of paper and the crystals develop from a small liquid substance provided). The crystals start to grow in a few hours and by the next day the tree is full of crystals. The directions are simple and the activity is easy to clean up. The activity is fun even for kids not showing a strong interest in science. Families and teachers will enjoy this product.

The kit is recommended for ages 10 and up. We did the first tree with Aaron, our 6 year old, but under parent supervision. Check out pictures of our tree and its progress. The first tree picture was taken within ten minutes of pouring the liquid in the base. It happened a lot faster than we expected!
