Our family loves to sing. But we don’t do it together near enough! On October 12th, Disney Interactive Studios released Disney Sing It: Party Hits
for the Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3. We finally had the chance to play it and let me tell you, we had a blast!
The video game has songs for everyone. Our family of five was able to find several songs we knew and loved. Some of our favorites were Boom Boom Pow, I’m Yours and All the Right Moves…just to name a few. We received the game along with the microphone, so we felt like true rock stars.
Like I have said over and over again, playing games together as a family is so important and it does so much for the family dynamic. If your family loves to play video games together, Disney Sing It: Party Hits is a fun choice.
A true party in a box, Disney Sing It: Party Hits allows players to sing solo, partner with a friend in duets and compete in new competitive modes. In the new Sing Off mode, two groups with up to eight players, go head to head in a huge sing-off. The players in one group sing solo and as an ensemble, while the opposing team does the same. The group with the highest score becomes the winner.
In Performance mode, the song lyrics and pitch bar are removed for a more relaxed experience for beginners, while expert singers can try their hand at getting high scores without on screen prompts to ease their performance. Also new to the Sing It franchise is Karaoke mode where players have the ability to reduce the vocal level of the artists in each song, giving themselves a chance to shine.
