Freddi Fish: ABC Under the Sea for Nintendo DS

On October 5th, Atari released a new video game for their Nintendo DS, Freddi Fish ABC Under the Sea. Armed with our DS and the game, we gave it a spin!

This video game is ideal for kids ages 3 to 5 and it offers a fun way for kids to learn. It’s educational, has some really bright and fun graphics, is entertaining and it’s a video game – four great reasons to consider purchasing this for your child. And with the Holidays right around the corner (EGADS!), what a great stocking stuffer this would make.

What we loved best about it was how jam-packed it was with different activities. I am sure you, like us, have purchased a video game before, where after one day your kids were bored. What a waste of money! With Freddi Fish, there are 20+ hours of compelling stories and games, inspires and challenges kids to explore Freddi’s underwater world and use such skills as letter recognition, vocabulary, spelling, counting, directions, colors, and tracing to help Freddi solve his cases. Kids will also enjoy a wide range of fun mini-games such as Soup Stir, Counting Coral, and Bubble Bonanza.

The game retails for $19.99 and is best for ages 3 to 5. If they could use some help with their ABCs, 123s, colors and directions – Freddi Fish is a fun way for them to learn, without really knowing they are learning!
