Review: Wearable Art – Color Your Own Clothes

What child doesn’t like wearing a shirt that they designed? Wearable Art is a fun, unique twist on the classic children’s activity, coloring books! A design is printed on t-shirts and packaged with the necessary materials to allow you to add your own artistic touch. Wearable Art is loved by kids everywhere because they created their own wearable work of art.

We had the chance to review the train shirt.

The kit comes with pastel coloring crayons and instructions on how to take care of the shirt. Our 6 year old colored it, we ironed it to set it and have since washed it and it still looks great.

I would recommend keeping an eye on the child while he/she is coloring it, so you can help them to prevent smudging and carrying the colors onto other areas of the shirt. We had quite a bit of smudging with the black crayon and he was a little frustrated because it didn’t look as good as he wanted.

Overall, we were pleased with the product. It’s creative and it’s a shirt kids will be proud to wear because they made it.

Be sure and check out all of the designs they have at their website. You can also keep up with the latest news via their blog and twitter.
