Review: V.Reader Animated E-Book System by VTech

The wonderful people at VTech sent us the V.Reader Animated E-Book System to review and we couldn’t be more thrilled with this system. We love it just as much as the MobiGo! It has everything a parent and a kid could want in an electronic toy designed to help kids discover the joy of reading.

Our 6 year old was really needing some help with reading. We can tell he is right at that point where it’s all about to sink in, but he needs that little extra push. Since he’s a wee bit stubborn, he prefers to learn things on his own, so the V.Reader is the perfect item for him. Most of the time when he is using it, he doesn’t even realize he’s learning because he’s having so much fun.

There are many cartridges to choose from, so once your child is bored with one, you can purchase another one and they have characters that will keep your child’s attention.

Why kids will like this: First off, as we have mentioned over and over again, it’s touch screen. Secondly, it’s just fun. They games and activities are right up their alley. It does make the stories come to life and they are learning and having fun. Some of the cartridges feature their favorite characters like from Shrek, Toy Story 3 and Mickey Mouse.
