Our review: We have gone through several of similar helicopters and they have all broken within a few uses. Very frustrating. What we love about the Air Hogs Sharp Shooter Radio Control Helicopter is that it’s sturdy and well made. After our experience with the other helis, we were all skeptical at how it would fly and if it realy could shoot things.
It flies really well, once you get the hang of it. It does take some practice and a steady, subtle touch to get it to do what you want. But once you figure it out, it’s a blast! The helicopter includes targets you can set up around the room and shoot them. The shooting feature does work and once press of a button and the little red missiles fire out.
Our 10 year old is able to use it much easier than our 6 year old. The product is for 8 and up and I agree with their age guidelines.
The Air Hogs Sharp Shooter Radio Control Helicopter will make a great gift for someone who loves remote control helicopters. Just be patient with it and learn the techniques. After that, you have one very fun toy!
