NBC has announced a deal with Mattel to produce a line of board games based on the hit game show ‘Minute to Win it’. The show is hosted by Food Network’s Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Pre-order here!
In each one-hour episode competitors face 10 challenges that escalate in level of difficulty using everyday household items. Each game has a one minute time limit and failure to finish the task on time results in elimination. At various points throughout the game, the competitor can walk away with the money earned up to that point – but it’ll take nerves of steel to complete all 10 tasks to win $1 million.
The board games are tentatively scheduled for late 2010. Sounds fun! Available January 1st.

Minute to Win It is becoming a board game!??!??! My grandkids are going to LOVE this for Christmas! They play these games all the time, because they're absolutely GLUED to the show this summer! Can't wait for more episodes and the board game!
