Review: Little Pim, Fun with Languages

My husband and I used to live in Europe when we were younger and at one point we taught English in the high schools and elementary schools. I was amazed at how well those kids knew English and there were days that the 4th graders taught me a thing or two about the English language.

Ever since then, I have felt it is important to teach our kids another language and the younger they are, the easier it is.

Little Pim Spanish Gift SetI am so excited to introduce you today to Little Pim, where kids can have fun with languages. We received the  Spanish disc set which  includes 3 discs – eating and drinking, wake up smiling and playtime. Not only is the system educational, but it is so much fun. I love the little Panda! This is the first product that allows parents to be their kids foreign language tutor, even if you don’t speak the language.

I think one of the best ways to learn more about this product is to visit their website. They have a video on the About Us page, as well as videos that show you the Panda in action.

This truly is a great system and I was 100% impressed with it. If you have a baby, toddler or preschooler and you have been wanting them to learn a new language, you should definitely try out Little Pim. I wasn’t disappointed and I don’t think you be will either.

Here is a little more information about the product, as well as the ingenious creator of Little Pim:

Little Pim is an award-winning DVD language series that immerses children entirely in a foreign language and is specifically designed for the 0-5 age group – the critical window for learning multiple languages. Research proves that young children who learn a language before the age of five also tend to have superior reading, writing, analytical and social skills, as well as more extensive vocabularies than their monolingual peers.

Developed by “mompreneur” Julia Pimsleur Levine, daughter of the renowned linguist Dr. Paul Pimsleur, in consultation with Dr. April Benasich, a leading neuroscientist, Little Pim makes it easy and fun to introduce a second language. Little Pim has won more than ten top consumer awards and is a hit with celebrities including Angelina Jolie, Brad Paisley and Entourage’s Constance Zimmer.

Little Pim is offered in Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Arabic, English and German and available in a variety of price points – from an individual Little Pim DVD at $17.95 to the Little Pim Deluxe Gift Set (enclosed here), which includes a three-disc set, an eight-inch velvety soft plush toy of Little Pim, the panda, a music CD and flash cards in a fun, re-usable tote at $84.95, with many options in between.
