If you, or someone you know, is a fan of comic books, listen up! May 1st is Free Comic Book Day and retailers everywhere will be giving out over 2 million free comic books. There’s quite a wide variety of comic books that will be given out, so surely every fan will find something that gets them excited.
Some of the summer movies will be represented on Free Comic Book Day including ‘Toy Story’, ‘Iron Man’ and ‘Shrek Forever After’.
Not only do you have a chance to get a free comic book, but some of the creators will be on hand at different stores signing copies. You can also expect to find some great sales, which is always a plus! Comic book stores are encouraging readers to come dressed as their favorite comic book hero for the event.
