A fourth grader in New York was sent to the principal’s office and nearly suspended for bringing a 2-inch toy LEGO man gun to school. Nine year old Patrick Timoney and a friend were playing LEGOs in the cafeteria and one of the police officer LEGO men had a toy gun.
Timoney’s mom got a call from the school and the parents met with the principal. The principal agreed not to punish the boy and the father said that the principal went overboard. I would have to agree.
